We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our Bord Gais Energy business team. If you are a self-driven and motivated business Sales Representative, we want to hear from you!
The successful candidate will be responsible for selling on behalf of Bord Gáis Energy in a defined geographical area, selling electricity and gas services to the SME market. The successful candidate will be building up their pipeline through cold calling, appointment setting, referrals & networking groups.

The Role:
- Seeking out and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities through quality cold calling into businesses and organisations in your territory
 - Structured telephone appointment setting
 - Meet with business owners to review their energy needs and offer a full quotation on their accounts
 - Negotiating with larger business groups
 - Maintaining the highest standards when completing Customer Applications in line with all company compliance standards
 - Build and manage a pipeline and develop detailed journey plans to utilise your time effectively and efficiently
 
About you:
- Full clean driver’s licence & own vehicle essential.
 - Experience in a B2B/B2C Energy sales environment is highly regarded
 - Strong organisational skills to maximise opportunities from appointments and to ensure quality journey planning.
 - Proven track record in exceeding sales targets month on month in a fast paced sales environment
 - Pro-active and strategic in approach, recognises and considers the bigger picture.
 
Benefits:
- Salary: Basic salary of €30,000
 - Allowance: Car allowance of €6,000
 - Commission: Competitive commission structure with OTE €42,000
 - Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 5:30pm (No Weekends or bank holidays)
